Getting More Traffic For Your Blog
Get More of The Right Traffic To Your Fitness Blog

So you have just written an amazing blog post on your website and pushed the publish button and your post is live on the internet. The content may be great but you need to drive traffic to the post if you want people to benefit from it.

I've been there myself, spending hours writing blog posts and then looking at my analytic account only to find that its only been viewed by 2 people (probably my mum and my girlfriend), meaning that the effort has been a massive waste of time.

It doesn't have to be like this so how can you get more traffic to your blog?

As a fit pro you should be blogging and putting out content on a regular basis. Ideally you want to be doing this at the very least once a week but you also need to let people know about it. This allows you to showcase your knowledge and keep you in what we call Top Of Mind Awareness (TOMA). This basically means that even though someone may not currently be a client or customer at the minute, when they are ready to commit to personal training or your boot camp, you will be at the top of their minds as the go to person in your area or niche. This will also ensure that people remember who you are and won’t unsubscribe from your list because they sporadically get your emails and forget why they signed up in the first place.

Here is a simple checklist that I recommend using to get more people to your blog and read more of what you are putting out. Do this on a regular basis and you will start getting graduall increases in traffic.
